Athens IT Security Conference

AthCon is an annual, European one-day conference targeting particular areas of information security. It’s aim: to bring leading information security experts together. Attacking techniques of exploitation and various forms of penetration testing have become an important component of any organisation. This conference aims to provide a venue for understanding the ever evolving changes as well as new threats.

AthCon was successfully organised on the 3rd of June, 2010 in Athens, Greece. 18 highly regarded researchers from Greece and abroad presented their latest research to an audience of IT decision makers, researchers and hackers. 0day exploits were showcased highlighting the real necessity for businesses to undertake  a hollistic approach to IT security to counter the latest cutting edge threats to their infrastructures.
